Most carrier websites are bright and bold with expansive white space. It gives them a modern, almost futuristic appearance.
For example: http://www.progressive.com is a great example of a company that has one color in their branding. They make it work for them. I’ll also talk more about branding in my Masters of Marketing webinar.
Going back to the Progressive website, you’ll notice there isn’t much going. But, they still manage to get their point across.
Five icons and a handful of photos are all they need to get you hooked. It’s not about the quantity of information, but about the quality.
Which leads us to…
What information do all the major carrier websites have in common?
They put the word “quote” right in front of your face.
Today’s generations love nothing more than to have everything automated for them. So, make sure you let them know they can get that quote right on your website, without having to click around.
